Scottsdale "Archangel Michael" 1 oz Silver Bar (with Capsule)
Archangel Michael is most often thought of as the angel of protection and the most powerful of all the angels. He is considered a leader within the angelic realm and a patron angel of righteousness, mercy and justice. As such, scriptural artwork depicts him as a warrior most often carrying a sword. Michael leads God’s armies against Satan’s forces in the Book of Revelation, where during the war in heaven he defeats Satan.
These impressive silver bars are individually housed in sealed acrylic capsules. Multiples of five bars are packaged together in a sealed board.
The Archangel Michael is featured on the obverse side of 1 oz Silver Archangel Michael Bars. He is shown here standing over a serpent as he finishes it off with his mighty sword. Michaels powerful wings are close against his back as he looks off toward other possible enemies, sending a signal to the invaders that the fight is over as he drives his sword into the serpent. Michael is shown wearing armor on his chest and carries a large, spade-shaped shield with the Christian cross in his left hand for protection.
The name and logo of the Scottsdale Mint feature on this side of the Silver Archangel Michael Bars. The design field includes half of the Scottsdale Mint lion logo on the right side, with an inscription of SCOTTSDALE MINT along the left side. At the top of the bar, you will find inscriptions of 1 TROY OZ FINE SILVER .999.
The most famous story of Michael comes from the Book of Revelation in the New Testament of the Christian Bible. This talks of Michael leading the other angels in the army of God against Satan and his forces of evil as the latter attempt to overthrow Heaven. Michael finishes the battle when he defeats and kills a serpent, a representation of the evil of Satan.
