Canadian Maple Leave 1/10oz 9999 Gold Coin (Random Year)
The 1/10 oz Canadian Gold Maple Leaf is part of the Royal Canadian Mint’s most renowned and widely collected coin series. Struck from 1/10 troy ounce of .9999 fine gold, this coin features a clean yet elegant design that has earned global admiration from both investors and collectors for its exceptional quality and purity.
First introduced in 1979, the Gold Maple Leaf began as a .999 pure gold coin, made exclusively from Canadian-mined gold. The 1/10 oz denomination was added in 1982, and from that year onward, the coin has been produced with .9999 fine gold. Prior to the Gold Maple Leaf's release, the South African Krugerrand was the purest gold bullion coin available, but political tensions in South Africa made it difficult to acquire. As a result, the Gold Maple Leaf quickly rose in popularity, offering both high purity and a powerful national symbol—the iconic maple leaf—rendered in exquisite detail and raised from the coin’s surface to provide a striking texture.
Each 1/10 oz Gold Maple Leaf coin is issued in Brilliant Uncirculated (BU) condition, with reeded edges and packaged in a protective plastic flip to preserve its pristine finish. Its fractional size makes it a practical and accessible option for investors, while its design and craftsmanship continue to make it one of the most beautiful gold bullion coins in the world.
